Stop Press

Our Communal Seder would not have been possible without the small team of committed volunteers and office staff who went above and beyond.

Over 30 people gathered in person and 10 online for a somewhat traditional seder with fantastic participation. Deborah Roos managed the in-person room whilst Sue Terpilowski managed the online room. Deborah coordinated the catering and worked hard in the kitchen with Rabbi Lev to make sure the food was ready on time and beautifully plated in the synagogue’s Passover best dishes.  A big ‘Thank You’ to Jane Critchley, Paul Flanagan and Student Rabbi Lev who supplemented the meal with delectable dishes.  Thanks must also go to Janine Robbins, who made the soup, set the tables for us and whose horseradish made the seder place settings complete. We mustn't forget our caretaker, John Wells, who ensured the tables and chairs were out and that all the Pesach dishes, pots and pans etc were taken out of storage!

Thank you to all who sang and helped us complete the story from degradation to exultation including Isaac and Kate Gotts who joined on Zoom from their baby-moon near Jerusalem.
