Jonathan Freedland: A Voyage Round My Father - Monday 30th November - 7pm

Jonathan Freedland, well-known British journalist and broadcaster, will talk about equally well-known British biographer, journalist and broadcaster, the late Michael Freedland.

A prolific journalist for over 60 years, Michael Freedland is perhaps best-known for his biographies of Hollywood and show business legends, and for presenting and producing You Don’t Have to Be Jewish for over two decades on BBC Radio London and LBC. Having started his career at the Luton News, Michael went on to write for the Times, the Guardian, the Observer, the Sunday Telegraph and the Jewish Chronicle.

 

Jonathan Freedland is an award-winning journalist, novelist and broadcaster. Columnist for the Guardian since 1997, previously the paper's Washington correspondent. Presenter of BBC Radio 4’s "The Long View". 2014 winner of the Orwell Special Prize for journalism. Author of eleven books, nine of them bestselling thrillers under the name Sam Bourne.
